Per person
- 100ml milk + some butter if you're feeling saucey
- 1 egg yolk
- 12g sugar
- Some vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp cornflour
Method
- Heat milk and butter till just off boil.
- Whisk sugar, eggs, vanilla and cornflour until light and fluffy
- Pour milk onto eggs and mix well
- Return to medium heat and cook till thick
